Perforated Filter Baskets — If It Doesn't Seal at the Rim, It Doesn't Filter
Welded cylindrical, conical and panel baskets in 304 and 316L — perforated support with optional mesh liner, flange and seal face matched to your housing, supplied as drop-in replacements.
A filter basket has two jobs, and buyers usually only specify one of them. The perforations decide the pressure drop. The rim decides whether the basket filters at all. If the flange does not seat and seal against its support ring or gasket, fluid takes the path of least resistance around the outside of the basket — the system looks normal, the pressure gauge reads fine, and nothing is being filtered. That is why we treat the flange and seal face as the critical dimension on every basket, and why a replacement basket is quoted against your housing rather than against a nominal diameter.
The second thing that retires a basket early is collapse. As dirt loads up, differential pressure rises and the perforated cylinder becomes a pressure vessel in miniature, squeezed inward by the pressure across its wall. A single-layer perforated cylinder with no reinforcing frame resists that load with its thickness and its weld seams alone — which is fine up to a point, and then it is not. If your process has a defined differential pressure at change-out, tell us the figure. Collapse resistance is a design input, not something to assume.

The rim is quoted to your housing. Flange diameter, seal face, support ring and gasket groove matched to your drawing or sample, so the basket seals instead of bypassing.
Collapse duty stated, not assumed. Tell us the differential pressure at change-out and we will confirm the wall thickness, weld detail and any reinforcement needed to survive it.
Perforated and liner built as one assembly. Where the rating comes from a mesh liner, the perforated support and the liner are made to work as a pair, not sourced separately and hoped to fit.
Reverse engineering from an existing basket. Send the worn basket — we map diameter, flange, seal face, handle and bottom, and issue a drawing for your written approval before production.
